Dana is a mental health counselor working with individuals of all ages, from childhood through adulthood. She is also a school psychologist and has many years of experience working with children and adolescents.
Dana has experience supporting individuals with varying issues related to the following: anxiety, anger, depression/mood, ADHD, relationship difficulties, family issues, trauma, LGBTQ+, self-esteem, stress, obsessions and compulsions.
Dana specializes in the treatment of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral dysregulation. Her approach to therapy includes a warm, reciprocal style of communication to problem-solve change. Sessions are collaborative and non-judgemental to help navigate difficult emotions and thoughts and provide you with reliable and effective skills to help restore a sense of equilibrium. Therapeutic strategies include Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused, and Motivational Interviewing.
In-person and virtual sessions are offered. Insurance is not accepted; sliding scale rates are available for those who qualify.
